Jacqueline Brown appointed to Lake Arrowhead CSD Division 2

President John Wurm moved to appoint Brown and Director Bruce Reynolds seconded; the motion carried with four ayes (Boydston, Brown, Reynolds, Wurm) and one absence (Director Robert Morris). Brown was sworn in during the meeting.
The appointment followed a recruitment process in which four community members initially expressed interest; two withdrew before interviews. Board members asked the two remaining candidates — Anthony Diones and Jacqueline Brown — to address the Board and answer questions before the vote. No public comment was received during the appointment item.
The new director will take part in regular Board business immediately; the Board did not set a separate date for any additional orientation in the minutes.
