General Manager Catherine Cerri told the Executive Committee that the Operations report scheduled for the Nov. Board meeting will show approximately a 20% increase in water usage, which staff attribute to irrigation season.
Cerri said staff expect usage to decline now that irrigation season is ending and that the District met the State's Water Use Objective last year and intends to meet it again this year. Because the state only recently released the reporting template, Cerri said the water‑budget reporting item will be moved to the December Board meeting for final consideration.
