District Manager Chuck Adams presented Resolution 2025-02 to amend the Fiscal Year 2023/2024 budget, citing a major expenditure related to a new lawnmower and adjustments to show "Actual" versus "Adopted Budget" figures. Adams said the operations and maintenance contingency line was increased by $20,000 to cover any additional journal entries; these funds will remain in surplus fund balance if unused.
Adams also reported the district will receive a $1,298 refund from the Tax Collector’s Office reflecting the difference between the actual and amended budget. "It is necessary to amend the Fiscal Year 2024 budget to reflect the major expenditure related to the new lawnmower," the minutes record. On motion by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Mr. Putman, the resolution was adopted with all in favor.
