Commissioners said the lots are small, fragmented and not contiguous with existing protected parcels, and therefore unlikely to provide meaningful conservation benefit. "In my opinion, they don't have any special conservation value," a commissioner said after a brief review of the tax‑map copy included in the packet. The commission moved, seconded and approved a notice declining right of first refusal for those lots.
Staff will notify the town and record the decision in the commission minutes.
