After residents raised safety concerns about a damaged, invasive tree and an associated debris pile on CDD property behind 11453 Heritage Point Drive, the Heritage Pines board reviewed three estimates from A‑Z Tree Service and approved the $600 option to remove the tree and grind the stump.
"On MOTION by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Mr. Putman, with all in favor, the A Z Tree Service, LLC estimate to Remove with Stump Grind Behind 11453 Heritage Point Drive, in the amount of $600, was approved," the meeting record states. Supervisors reviewed alternative estimates including a $350 trim and a $5,475 forestry-mulch option and chose the targeted removal-and-stump-grind for the residential hazard reported by neighbors.
