The Heritage Pines Community Development District adopted Resolution 2025-05 on April 15 to approve an updated Florida Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement.
District Manager Chuck Adams told supervisors the agreement had been previously approved but was being presented again because of updates. He said the district is more likely to be the recipient of aid from other governmental entities than a provider and summarized the benefits of participation. On motion by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Ms. Vaughan, the board adopted the resolution unanimously.
Why it matters: formal mutual-aid agreements can help local districts obtain resources after emergencies and streamline intergovernmental assistance. The adoption documents the district's continued participation in the updated statewide framework.
