Master Sargent Harrison told trustees the sheriff's office logged 342 calls in April and has increased attention to the 120th and Slaughterville Road area; the office is participating in the "Click it or Ticket" campaign. Fire Chief Chris Tolson reported 46 runs, including two mutual-aid calls and one auto-aid call, and said the department will attend an annual EMS refresher with Wadley EMS; he added all current firefighters will be First Responder trained by next year. Planning & Development Specialist Josh Reagan reported 32 active permits (four opened, three finalized and two use permits under review) and Town Administrator Carol Lance summarized grant activity, noting REAP and ARPA grants are complete and that ARPA interest earned was $57,390.
