The Slaughterville Board of Trustees on April 21 approved a Use/Structure Permitted on Review allowing a shop with an accessory apartment at 10700 Sunset Ridge, in an AR-2 Agriculture/Residential zoning district.
Applicant Jenifer Tipton told the Board the accessory apartment “would be for her to live in so she could be close to her parents for their care.” The Planning & Zoning Commission had recommended approval; Mayor Steve Easom moved to approve the application and Brad Luby seconded. The vote was unanimous among the trustees present.
The board approved the permit without recorded conditions in the minutes. The parcel’s legal description and zoning (AR-2) were noted during the public hearing and review process.
