The Box Elder County Commission adopted Resolution 26-13, which staff said corrects conflicting language in the county’s personnel policies regarding accident reporting and disciplinary steps.
Annie Hansen explained staff found discrepancies between two sections of policy about failure to report accidents and that the resolution aligns disciplinary processes to a single consistent approach. "The changes made to the policy through this resolution corrects those discrepancies and make sure that we're, following the same process," Hansen said. Commissioner Bingham moved to adopt the resolution; Commissioner Perry seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Staff will implement the revised procedures as written in the adopted resolution and make the corrected policies available to employees.
