Sperry grants pay increases to several town employees after executive session

Following an executive session on personnel on Aug. 14, 2025, the Board of Trustees approved pay increases for several town employees. Mayor Robert Morton moved and Trustee David Cassidy seconded the motion to approve the raises, which the minutes record as: Nicholas Mahoney $1.50 per hour; Kenneth Trammel $1.00 per hour; Jackie Marte $1.00 per hour; Jeremiah Mydland $1.00 per hour; and Jackie McLain a 5% increase. The minutes record no action taken on Jayna Johnson.
Trustees voted unanimously to approve the raises, with the increases effective as of the next pay period. The minutes note the executive session discussion concerned employment, hiring, appointment, promotion and salary of employees pursuant to 25 O.S. §307(B)(1).
