Azusa Unified to expand visitor management system after Valleydale pilot

Ortega framed these measures as building on existing safety protocols and listed new and planned site improvements intended to ease drop-off and improve traffic flow: completed parking lots at Valleydale, Magnolia, Murray and Paramount elementary schools, with groundbreakings planned this summer at Dalton and Lee Elementary and a new cutout on Valleydale's south side.
District officials said the combined facilities and visitor-management updates are intended to strengthen control over campus access and improve safety for students and staff ahead of the next school year.
