Sierra High students showcase SpiderLab printing and audio tech at Azusa festival

Superintendent Arturo Ortega highlighted Sierra High School's new SpiderLab and Audio Technology classes, describing hands-on student work in screen printing and producing branded materials. "Students in the SpiderLab are learning to screen print, make vinyl banners, stickers, UV decals and more," Ortega said.
He noted Sierra High students brought those skills to the recent City of Azusa Community Festival, debuting custom UV decals and a branded pop-up tent, and that audio technology students provided music between band sets. The programs were presented as examples of career-technical instruction designed to give students workplace-relevant experience.
District staff said the hands-on projects and festival exposure help build students' practical skills and community connections.
