The Hooksett Planning Board voted to grant a one‑year extension to the conditional approval for the Durable Trailers commercial site plan at Eastpointe Drive. The board recorded that the project still requires outstanding DOT driveway and other major permits and that the applicant needs additional time to meet conditions of approval.
At the public hearing, Katie Weiss of Bedford Design Consultants said the applicant has completed some work (alteration of terrain permit approved) but has outstanding DOT driveway design and wetland mitigation items — including a remilling and repaving plan and left‑turn lane work on Eastpointe Drive that required coordination with District 5 traffic engineers. Weiss described ongoing exchange with agencies and said the applicant expects to complete outstanding permits in the coming months and begin construction when permits and the board's signatures are in hand.
Jared Williams moved to grant a one‑year extension, setting the new expiration date as 09/16/2026, and amended his motion to include the findings of fact and the time limits for fulfilling the stated conditions; Sheena Gilbert seconded. The motion carried by voice vote.
