The Board voted to proceed with fines for sump pump violations where property owners failed to comply after notice. Trustees cited specific noncompliant addresses that had been notified, including 825 Fourth Street and a property owned by Tyler Crubel; the Board asked staff to proceed with fines per the ordinance after the required notifications.
Trustee Scott Daentl moved to proceed with enforcement fines and Trustee Al Mergen seconded; the motion carried unanimously. The board confirmed the fine amount will be as specified in the existing ordinance and directed staff to carry out the assessment process if compliance is not achieved.
