Krissy Custer joined the meeting by phone to request a land-use permit for repairs at 109 State Highway 35 and to ask for water and sewer service to Lots 2 and 3.
The board approved the permit for bathroom repairs (motion by McLimans, seconded by Daentl). Custer said the building is a shell and she intends to keep it commercial, possibly subdividing into six rentable sections; she noted each section would need restroom facilities. When asked, Custer agreed to proceed with water and sewer installation for commercial purposes only after McLimans, citing liability and zoning concerns, said a tiny house on Lot 3 would be inappropriate next to the wastewater plant and under the county's commercial zoning.
The board then voted to grant water and sewer from the main to a curb stop for parcels 2 and 3 for future commercial use only, with Leitzinger clarifying a licensed plumber must perform the installation and the village will bill Custer for the work.
