The Village of Bloomington board unanimously approved Pay Application #8 to JI Construction for $249,920 to continue paving work on Wall Street. Delta 3 Engineering notified the board that Wall Street is about 75% complete, with clean-up and landscaping expected by June 6.
Mark Digman of Delta 3 Engineering told trustees that his earlier estimate of roughly $70,000 over contract had fallen to about $55,000 despite numerous added items including site fill (~$66,000), storm sewer on Spruce Road (~$15,000), paving on West Court Street (~$40,000), additional water services and laterals (~$15,000), and tree removals (~$4,000). The motion to approve the $249,920 pay application was made by Trustee Dennis Moris and seconded by Trustee Alan Mergen and carried unanimously.
