The Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council elected Michelle Santucci as its 2026 chair and Brianna Adams as vice chair during its Jan. 29 meeting. Jane Nye moved to elect Santucci, and J. L. Diaz seconded; the motion passed with "all in favor." Nye then moved to elect Adams as vice chair, seconded by Santucci; that motion also passed unanimously.
Michelle Santucci thanked the Council for the vote of confidence and commended Brian Trushinski for "his efforts, passion, and dedication to the Oak Park community, particularly regarding Medea Creek and landscape issues." The elections set the council's leadership for the year as members discussed upcoming priorities, including continued attention to creek management and liaison assignments to local agencies.
