Oak Park MAC elects Michelle Santucci chair, Brianna Adams vice chair

The Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council elected Michelle Santucci as its 2026 chair and Brianna Adams as vice chair during the Jan. 29 meeting at Oak Park High School.
Jane Nye moved to elect Santucci as chair, seconded by J. L. Diaz; the motion passed with all members voting in favor. Nye then moved to elect Adams as vice chair; the motion was seconded by Santucci and also passed unanimously. After the vote, Santucci "thanked the Council for the vote of confidence and commended Brian Trushinski for his efforts, passion, and dedication to the Oak Park community," according to the minutes.
The Council immediately confirmed liaison assignments for 2026: J. L. Diaz to CSA 4 Landscape, Brianna Adams to Oak Park Unified School District, Jane Nye to Triunfo Water & Sanitation District, Michelle Santucci for legislative matters, and Brian Trushinski to the Oak Park Fire Safe Council. Trushinski noted he did not wish to serve as CSA 4 liaison for 2026.
The Council set its next regular meeting for Feb. 26, 2026, and noted agenda items including a status update on the long-range Medea Creek management plan.
