Members stressed that the County Executive would need to decide on large capital or property-disposition steps. Mr. LaDue cautioned that planning should follow the feasibility study so the county knows which path (renovation, new build, or partnership) is financially viable.
No formal votes or disposals were recorded; committee members asked staff to prepare study and RFP language to present to the Legislature if they choose to proceed.
