Police chief reports on Mill Street speed sign, sewer-plant trespass and equipment upgrades

On department equipment, Chief Small said the department purchased a new computer for $1,092.01 and expects to recover roughly $550 by selling old equipment online, bringing the effective cost down to about $450. He added the new machine will be included in the state's January software update and summarized recent calls, including a domestic peace complaint, a goose complaint and a noise complaint at an apartment building. He noted winter parking enforcement will start, with citations for vehicles not moved within 48 hours.
