City attorney: Kratos Project moving forward; BIA hires engineers to design Maple and Tejon street infrastructure

City Attorney Beth Anne Childs updated the council Aug. 4 that the Kratos Project is proceeding and that she has received a lease agreement from the Ross Group and is reviewing its 58-page draft. Childs said she had reached page six of the document at the time of the meeting.
Childs also reported that the Bristow Industrial Authority has contracted Holloway, Updike & Bellen, Inc. to perform final design work for roadway, stormwater and sewer lines on Maple Street and from Tejon Street. She said the Ross Group had completed geotechnical work and is moving forward rapidly on project preparations.
No formal action to finalize the Ross Group lease was taken at the meeting; the attorney’s report was informational and the lease will require further review and future council action to execute.
