Commissioners approve warrants, name A.C.E. coordinator and set planning hearing for Revolve Labs

The board approved August warrants across multiple funds totaling $206,041.93: County Revenue $79,383.46; Long Term Capital Outlay $9,473.05; Ditch Fund $46,018.30; Agency Fund $3,143.21; Road and Bridge $62,605.34; Waste Abatement/SCORE $2,141.81; Landfill Enterprise $3,276.76. The motion to approve warrants passed unanimously.
Commissioner Donna Gravley reported that Emily Bentson has been hired as the Cottonwood County A.C.E. Coordinator and will start the week of Aug. 26, 2024. Gravley also said she had learned about Revolve Labs and noted the Planning & Zoning public hearing for that matter is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 29 at 12:30 p.m. at the BARC building. Chairman Norman Holmen reminded the board of the 2025 department budget work session on Aug. 27 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting recessed at 12:12 p.m. and reconvened at 1:00 p.m., and adjourned at 3:09 p.m.
