Marlborough students recognized with Daughters of the Revolution, NSDC and National Merit honors

During the Dec. 9 meeting the Marlborough School Committee publicly recognized several students for academic achievement.
Betsy Powell was named the Class of 2026 recipient of the Daughters of the Revolution Good Citizen Award. The committee also recognized Jessica Cardosa and Nicholas Andrade as Class of 2026 recipients of National School Development Council awards for academic growth and student leadership. Superintendent Jason DeFalco added a last-minute recognition: Skylar Monahan was noted for outstanding PSAT performance and National Merit recognition.
Committee members acknowledged each student during the presentation portion of the evening; these were ceremonial recognitions recorded in the meeting packet.
