MHS student representatives brief school committee on facilities, testing and peer tutoring

At the Dec. 9, 2025 meeting of the Marlborough School Committee, student representatives from Marlborough High School presented updates on student services and supports for the 2025–26 school year.
Sophia Nieves, freshman class representative, described needs related to public-facing facilities at MHS. Sophomore representative Jade Onyango outlined SAT and PSAT opportunities available to students, and junior representative Maggie Morrissey discussed the benefits and structure of a peer tutoring program. Ms. Klein shared on behalf of senior class representative Altagracia Toussaint, describing guidance the high school provides during the college-application process and suggesting additional supports that could be offered.
The student reports were placed on the record during the committee’s presentation period and logged in the meeting packet. Committee members acknowledged the reports and thanked students for their participation; no formal motions resulted from the presentation.
