Board hears human-resources data presentation; chair asks for three-year cohort data

Christine Pemberton, Executive Director of Talent & Human Resources, presented a human-resources data update to the board on Jan. 12. Pemberton, joined by Nicole Haggerty and Ashley Kenyon, reviewed the HR organizational chart, employee-demographic summaries, survey results, a legislative update affecting staffing and benefits, and planned HR initiatives. The minutes state that a copy of the report is available upon request.
Following the presentation, President Elaine Maynard-Adams thanked the presenters indirectly by asking for additional data for the board’s use: she requested a midyear cohort report showing approximately three years of cohort progress so trustees can track the same students’ progress over time. Board member Susan Hambey later thanked the HR department for an informative presentation.
