River Ridge Board appoints Keith Merrill to vacant seat, elects officers
Summary

On Oct. 22 the River Ridge Community Development District Board appointed Keith Merrill to fill the unexpired Seat 1 term (expires November 2026). "Mr. Schultz nominated Mr. Keith Merrill to fill Seat 1," the record shows; the motion, made by Mr. Schultz and seconded by Mr. Twombly, passed with all in favor.
Mrs. Adams, a notary public, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Merrill and reviewed required ethics training, filing obligations, Sunshine Law requirements and the Form 8B memorandum for voting conflicts. The Board also adopted Resolution 2025-01 electing officers: Bob Schultz as Chair, Terry Mountford as Vice Chair, and Kurt Blumenthal, Robert Twombly and Keith Merrill named as Assistant Secretaries; James Gilman was removed as an Assistant Secretary.
Board members thanked Mr. Ofenloch for his willingness to serve. Staff noted procedural items for new officers, including timelines for required training and filing of disclosures.
