Engineer: Seaside & Master Drainage work starting soon; Board approves $15,000 irrigation change order

Charlie Krebs, District Engineer, presented a revised scope of work for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and said MRI expects to begin work within two to three weeks. He also presented ancillary costs from Irrigation Concepts: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and roughly $1,300 each to raise about seven to eight irrigation heads.
On motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Schultz, the Board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order to repair wiring and raise seven to eight irrigation heads in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000. The approval was unanimous and intended to allow the drainage project to proceed without delay.
