River Ridge CDD adopts special assessments for FY2024/25, removes Exhibit B references

The River Ridge Community Development District opened a public hearing on Aug. 27, 2024 to consider Resolution 2024-08, which makes a determination of benefit and imposes special assessments for fiscal year 2024/2025. The hearing drew no public comment. The board agreed to revise the resolution by deleting references to "Exhibit B" on Page 2 and elsewhere, then adopted the amended resolution on a motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly.
Mr. Tony Pires recommended opening the hearing. After no members of the public spoke, Mrs. Cleo Adams closed the hearing and the Board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 2024-08, which includes provisions for collection and enforcement of special assessments and certifies an assessment roll. The Board also discussed compliance items including required ethics training and financial disclosure forms for supervisors.
The adopted resolution includes a severability clause and an effective date; the Board’s vote was unanimous.
