River Ridge CDD adopts FY2024/25 budget after minor corrections

The River Ridge Community Development District unanimously adopted its fiscal year 2024/25 budget at a public hearing on Aug. 27, 2024. On a motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly, the Board approved Resolution 2024-07 to adopt the annual appropriations for the period Oct. 1, 2024–Sept. 30, 2025, and authorized budget amendments.
District staff noted the budget included scrivener errors in the packet and made corrections before the hearing. Mr. Chuck Adams said, "the Fiscal Year 2025 budget in the agenda is not correct," and staff corrected the language on Page 2 relating to the "Street sweeping" description following Mr. Blumenthal's review. The public hearing was opened and closed with no public testimony. Mr. Tony Pires asked whether any public emails had been received; Mrs. Cleo Adams said none had been received.
The adoption motion passed with all in favor. The resolution authorizes budget amendments; further procedural steps will follow according to district practice.
