Cicero School District 99 presents amended 2025–26 budget, flags $50 million TRS payment and construction deficit

Klis told the board that the various fund statements show the allocation of spending by department and that the majority of funds are allocated to salaries and benefits. President Tomschin and other board members had no questions. The board opened the hearing for public comment but heard none before Member Couch moved, and Member Moreno seconded, a motion to adjourn; the motion passed unanimously among members present.
The presentation does not record specific dollar amounts for the construction deficit beyond the TRS on‑behalf payment; the budget packet was provided to the board for review and the amended figures are included in that packet.
