Miguel Gautier, Jr., Executive Director of District Operations, told the School Facilities & Program Design Committee that the public address system at Nathan Hale needs to be replaced and that the district has issued a public bid. "The estimate for the materials when looking at the website is approximately $90,000," he said.
Gautier said the district is seeking a customizable cloud-based system and that staff testing of components indicated that option appeared to be the best fit. He reminded the committee that the need had been raised at a previous meeting and that the public bid had been released to invite vendor proposals. No committee vote was required at the meeting; Gautier presented the estimate and procurement approach for committee awareness.
