Board approves five-year contracts for PSRP and Secretaries units

Vice-President Dominick moved and Member Couch seconded approval of Master Agreements between the Board of Education and the Cicero Council Union for the PSRP Unit and the Secretaries Unit with the West Suburban Teachers Union, Local 571, American Federation of Teachers for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2031. Each motion passed on roll call with the five members present voting aye.
Superintendent Aldo Calderin earlier described the PSRP and Secretaries contracts as five-year agreements intended to provide long-term sustainability, including proposed health insurance and salary adjustments. President Tomschin thanked the Cicero Council for approving the contracts and thanked administration for their work to get the agreements ratified.
