Treasurer reports state owes District $1.75 million; lunch/breakfast payments outstanding

Rita Tarullo, the district’s Executive Director of Business Affairs, briefed the board on April 23 on revenues and expenditures. She reported that, as of Feb. 10, 2026, the state owed the district $1,747,789.72 and that most state payments had been received, with the exception of pending breakfast and lunch program reimbursements.
Tarullo also told the board that updated pricing on the district’s bonds would be available April 27. The board asked no substantive follow‑up questions in open session during the Treasurer’s Report; members indicated they had no questions when asked by staff.
