Board notes PR Elementary roof approval, flags additional damage and ceiling repairs

The WEST BONNER COUNTY DISTRICT Facilities & Maintenance Committee recorded that the board has approved the PR Elementary roof repair but is continuing communications with the insurer about additional damage. "The roof repair has been approved by the board; however, there is still communication with insurance," the meeting minutes state.
Trustee Delbert Pound asked that the fascia be inspected and repaired as part of the work after district staff reported there is "actually more damage due to the forks from a tractor over the library as well." The minutes also note that work at PLE was finished on June 26, 2026: "PLE roof work was completed June 26, 2026."
The committee recorded a separate facilities need at PRLJSH: ceiling tiles have been ordered and will be replaced along with scheduled cleaning by August. The minutes list these items as part of the district's five-year plan updates and identify follow-up communication with the insurer and with contractors as outstanding actions.
