At a July 2 meeting of the West Bonner County School District Child Nutrition Program Task Force, members reviewed summer-school feeding numbers and outreach efforts. The minutes record that PRE averaged about 75 lunches and 62 breakfasts while IDH averaged about 5–6 breakfasts and about 15 lunches; task force members discussed signage, fliers and local posting as outreach measures.
Members noted outreach actions including signage from Blanchard to Newport and at local stores and the post office, and discussed staffing patterns (working roughly five hours) to maintain service. The group discussed ways to increase participation and agreed to continue monitoring daily counts and promotion ahead of the next meeting.
