Carryover Title funds to pay for microscopes, 3D printers, industrial-arts upgrades and teacher training

Planned purchases include upgrades to the Industrial Arts classroom (drill press, jigsaw, buffer, mitre saw), 12 high‑powered microscopes for science classes, two 3D printers for the STEM lab, and updated Spanish curriculum materials for middle school. Obrock said K–5 special‑education curriculum resources are being added and that additional Title funds will help offset summer‑school salaries. She also said the district will pay for training for the new STEM curriculum and for Wilson Reading intervention training for six special‑education teachers.
Obrock framed the purchases as investments in instruction funded by federal Title carryover rather than the general fund.
