Board hears facilities update: spring repairs completed, summer work planned

Board member Suzy Stevens told the board that several building and grounds projects were completed over spring break: the roof fence above the district office was replaced, the building received a deep clean, touch-up painting occurred in hallways and common areas, and Bluetooth capability was added to the secondary gym sound system.
She said that Andy Lopez is scheduling summer work that will include required annual inspections and additional improvement projects funded by a School Maintenance Grant from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). The administration will return with details and timelines as the summer schedule is finalized.
