The Komarek School District 94 Board approved an administrative recommendation to increase student registration fees by up to $17 for families purchasing both a P.E. uniform and a yearbook. Superintendent Dr. Todd Fitzgerald told the board the increase is intended to cover a $15 charge for P.E. uniforms and a $2 increase for yearbooks to reflect higher production costs.
The motion to approve the fee increase was made by Board President Chris Waas and seconded by Holly Neumann; the roll call vote was unanimous among members present (6–0). The administration said the change will be reflected in 2026–2027 registration communications to families.
