Students honored as March Students of the Month; local donor to contribute to Lemont Park Foundation

The board recognized Nadia Renn, Hunter Kinst, Grace Murray and Olivia Bzowski as the March 2026 Students of the Month. Lemont businessman Brad Grcevic of Edward Jones Inc. committed to making a donation to the Lemont Park Foundation on behalf of the students, according to the meeting record.
Assistant Principal Eric Doherty also highlighted a range of student accomplishments: Amelia Montell qualified for the Special Olympics State Games; Luke Rupert was named to the Illinois Music Education Association All‑State Jazz Band; students qualified for IHSA Speech, Chess, Girls’ Gymnastics, Boys’ Wrestling and Girls’ Wrestling state-level competitions; and Judah Heeg and Molly O’Connor placed in state wrestling and girls wrestling finals respectively. Member Sarah Pocic offered congratulations on behalf of the board.
