Lemont board OKs SEIU MOUs and accepts athletic donations

The Lemont Township High School District 210 Board approved two memoranda of understanding with Service Employees International Union, Local 1 at its Feb. 17 meeting. The minutes list Action Consideration #25-65 (Holiday Dates MOU) and #25-66 (Article XV - Retirement MOU) as approved on the superintendent's recommendation.
Separately, the board accepted a $7,400 donation designated for dance choreography and a $2,000 donation for baseball bat sensors from the Blue & Gold Athletic Boosters (Action #25-67). In awards remarks earlier in the meeting, Lemont businessman Brad Grcevic of Edward Jones Inc. is recorded as making a donation to Everytown for Gun Safety on behalf of the February Students of the Month. All of these actions carried with unanimous aye votes among members present.
