The Jacksonville School District #117 Board of Education unanimously approved the special meeting agenda on Dec. 17, 2025 after a motion by Mr. Lonergan and a second from Mrs. Wilson. The roll-call vote recorded all seven members voting "Yea": Lonergan, Wilson, Trace, Stewart, Pool, Leonard and Beard; there were no "Nay" votes.
Later in the meeting Mrs. Wilson moved to adjourn and Mr. Lonergan seconded; the board again voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:00 p.m. The meeting had been called to receive the district's 2024–2025 Annual Financial Report and no visitors offered public comment during the reception-of-visitors slot.
