Komarek board approves staff moves, consultant renewal and contract for Director of Student Services

The board approved moving Patrice Kunst from a 1.0 full-time speech pathologist position to a part-time 0.8 role; accepted the resignation of paraprofessional Karen Freeman; renewed the business office consultant agreement for Mohsin Dada from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 at $750 per day not to exceed 15 workdays; and approved a two-year contract for Dr. Diane Janka as Director of Student Services with salary no less than $110,487.25 for the 2026–27 school year.
The meeting minutes record the motions and votes: "TO APPROVE THE REQUEST FOR PATRICE KUNST, SPEECH PATHOLOGIST, TO MOVE FROM A 1.0 FULL-TIME TO A PART-TIME 0.8 POSITION" and "TO APPROVE THE 2-YEAR CONTRACT FOR DR. DIANE JANKA. SHE WILL BE PAID A SALARY OF NO LESS THAN $110,487.25 FOR THE 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR." Each personnel and contract motion passed with Yes votes from Arango, Merrill, Neumann, Obrock, Waas, Stevens, and Will.
