The Lincolnwood School District 74 Board of Education approved its consent agenda on March 5, 2026. Items approved included minutes from the Feb. 5 regular and closed meetings; personnel actions (resignation of paraprofessional Yolanda Santos effective Feb. 20, 2026; retirement of Julie Hammel, 3rd grade teacher, effective end of the 2029–2030 school year; and FMLA leave notices for Bennett Nelson and Ana Ryan); adding Vanguard as an SRA option for eligible employees beginning Spring 2026 at no cost to the District; a PowerSchool multi-year contract (SIS Maintenance and Registration Maintenance) covering July 1, 2026–June 30, 2031; and a student 1:1 technology refresh for the 2026–2027 school year “in an amount not to exceed $127,000.”
Secretary John P. Vranas moved the consent motion and Member Ted Kwon seconded; the minutes record the vote as Ayes: Foutris, Vranas, Kwon, Oleniczak, Rosenberg, Seta, Theodore; Nays: None. The consent vote bundled multiple administrative and contractual approvals; the record shows the Finance Committee had supported the recommended vendor and contract items despite lacking a quorum at its February meeting.
