Lincolnwood Board calls on Cook County officials to fix property tax bill delays

Rosenberg moved and Member Jay Oleniczak seconded a motion that the Board adopt a Resolution calling on the Cook County Treasurer and other Cook County officials responsible for issuing property tax bills to resolve systemic issues. The motion was submitted to a roll‑call vote and passed with Ayes from Foutris, Kwon, Oleniczak, Rosenberg, Seta and Theodore.
The resolution asks county officials to address administration issues that the Board says have delayed property tax bill issuance. The motion was recorded in the Business and Operations section of the agenda and will stand as the Board’s formal position unless rescinded or superseded by future action.
