The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education met in special session on Dec. 19, 2024. Board President Mrs. McGinty called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. in the district Learning Commons and read the statement of compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act.
The minutes record: "On a MOTION made by Mr. Grant and seconded by Mrs. Halcrow the Board by unanimous roll call vote, moved to Executive Session at 5:01 p.m.:" The executive-session resolution cites N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. and Section 12(b) of the Act and lists the subject as "Personnel (Superintendent Interviews)." The resolution also states that "the length of the Executive Session is estimated to be 3 hours," after which the public meeting may reconvene.
The board returned to open session at 9:29 p.m. on a motion by Mr. Page, seconded by Mrs. Whitehouse, and, with no further public business, adjourned at 9:30 p.m. The minutes were signed by Sean S. Cranston, Business Administrator/Board Secretary. The record does not disclose the content of the executive-session discussion because personnel interviews were held in closed session.
