Superintendent Ryan Swan told the board there were no construction bids for safety entrances at Dr. Nick Osborne Primary Center and J.L. Buford, and the board voted to table that project until bids are received. The motion to table the project passed unanimously among members present.
At the same meeting the board authorized staff to seek solar bid proposals spanning 3 to 5 years after Mr. Swan described potential energy-saving opportunities. "Motion by Nunnery, seconded by Blok to go out seek solar bid proposals ranging from 3-5 years, as presented." The authorization directs the district to solicit proposals and return to the board with bids for review.
