ROE inspections find minor issues at three buildings; district reports $79,558.16 in outstanding state payments

Board members heard that the Fire Marshall and the Regional Office of Education completed health, life and safety inspections for all district buildings on Feb. 6, 2026. Dr. Nick Osborne Primary Center had no violations; the other three buildings showed at least one minor finding that Maintenance Director John Burkett will address.
Superintendent Ryan Swan told the board, "The State owes the school district $79,558.16 as of February 28, 2026." The board did not take formal action on the inspection findings during the March 12 meeting but assigned the maintenance director to follow up and correct minor issues reported by ROE.
