Special Education Director Jodi Cooper told the board that Mount Vernon SD 80 currently serves about 360 students in PreK through eighth grade and described the district's classroom and service configuration across all buildings.
Superintendent Ryan Swan gave a Head Start update, reporting "Head Start currently has 233 students enrolled program wide." He also said registration for the 2026'2027 school year is underway and Child Find appointments are being conducted. Cooper left the meeting at 6:12 p.m.
