Lockport SD 91 board approves superintendent contract through 2029

Superintendent Dr. Wilkey had presented updates earlier in the meeting, including the Evaluation Committee's work on a new evaluation plan for certified staff to be implemented in 2026–27. The board later entered closed session under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) to consider personnel matters and resumed open session at 10:05 p.m.
The motion to approve the contract carried with no recorded opposing votes or abstentions. The board made no additional public amendments to the contract terms on the record during the meeting.
