District Special Education staff and building administrators reported on end-of-year events and student progress.
Director of Student Services Peter Masters said the preschool celebration is scheduled for June 4 and reported: "We received our ML access results and they are good; we see many students who will be exiting ML services next year." Giles School Principal Bob Biedke listed multiple upcoming events, including a Washington, D.C. trip, D.A.R.E. graduation on May 20, and graduation on June 2 at Ridgewood High School (doors open at 6:15 p.m.; ceremony at 7:00 p.m.). Leigh School (Dr. Sean Rabiola) described preschool and second-grade field trips, Teacher Institute Day on May 22, Field Day on May 26 and June 4 celebrations for kindergarten and preschool.
